How the heck did he get in there?

Yup, that’s me. You’re probably wondering how I ended up in this situation.

We have to guess that this poor pup may have been thinking about that 4-year-old meme as he wondered how on Earth he’d explain his predicament.

The unfortunate pooch, now dubbed Frederick, was somehow trapped between a low cement wall and a tall wooden fence with no room to move or even lay down. Frederick, by the looks of him a rottweiler, was pretty scared when staff from the Denver Animal Shelter arrived, the shelter wrote on Facebook

But the rescuers had a secret weapon: a neighbor’s ice cream cone. With that treat and some light encouragement they were able to coax Frederick out of his too-narrow hallway.

Frederick sustained some injuries from his predicament, but the shelter says he’s otherwise doing well. The shelter is looking for his parents, so if you live in Denver and are missing a rottweiler with questionable depth perception, maybe this big boy is him.
