Stevie had fallen out of his nest during a storm and I rescued him and now he is a real sweetie. He loves bologna,rice and meal worms. I contacted the rescue people in our area to take him but they never contacted me. Now I can't turn him loose because I am afraid he could not fend for himself.

i work at a rescue center.....you should not be feeding him that food....that is horrible....you have a heat lamp???...he should be in a box not a cage...this is a wild animal ...treat the bird like it...really..rice and bologna....you should do some research...you need to bring him to a rescue center...and not petco or a retail shop...a real rescue center..and please stop feeding him that stuff
