Nitschke (pronounced NITCH-KEY) was a feline who we had for about a year before giving her to another loving home, along with her dear brother, Jake. They were like "foster kitties" to us because we owned them for a short time then gave them to another loving home. Not a day goes by without us thinking about them and missing them. They are doing quite well, though, in their new family. Nitschke was such an ADORABLE tortoiseshell kitten (see this pic!), and grew up to be a beautiful tortie cat. She had tons of purrsonality, as all cats, especially torties, do. She was such a social-lite kitty, always hanging out in the middle of the action, and often meowing her character-filled meows. We feel honored to have known such a wonderful kitty and watch her grow up from being a young kitten to a young adult. And, we are so glad she is doing beautifully in her new home, along with her pal, Jake! We wanted to set this page up for Nitschke in honor of the time we had her and knew her. (And to show how CUTE she was when she was a kitten!)
