Sophia was a stray cat and was rescued by the Treehouse Cat Shelter in Chicago after she was hit by a car. They were able to save her life, but she lost her right eye and front paw. She lost none of her spunk though- she runs, grabs at mouse toys with an iron paw, and generally doesn't seem to notice that she's "disabled." The one thing she can't do is wash her face, so she licks my hand and pushes her head under it so I can wash it for her. Brilliant!
